The massage and bodywork

Ka Huna bodywork originated in the South Pacific and was used during Rites of Passage or Initiation Process as a transformational massage and healing system. It is also known as a Hawaiian Temple Massage and Lomi Lomi. Ka Huna Bodywork is unique from any other massage as it provides a holistic approach to healing by balancing the body-mind in its physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions. It is often referred to as the ‘Queen of massages’. The client will experience a deeply relaxing massage with warm coconut oil that nourishes the whole body as it is moved around the table in a lightly energetic, yet calming and flowing way. I will move with the music and tailor the session to my clients needs. The space will be held for you as the receiver to be liberated from any stress, physical tension or emotional pain and blockages.

Every Ka Huna massage experience will be different. Sometimes the receiver may experience physical healing and relaxation, sometimes unlocking stuck emotions, detox from past memories and crying, or sometimes the receiver may see colours and experience energy shifts. Every Ka Huna massage will allow you to connect with your soul more and receive spiritual healing, all you need to do is allow yourself to enjoy and be nurtured by touch.

The Session

The session will start off with a short consultation. A Ka Huna massage involves a full body massage of the head, neck, back, arms, legs, feet, chest, face and head using bio-certified coconut oil. I will apply soft and deep tissue massage, stretches, underbody massage work and energy work. The massage will end with hot towel massage and time to integrate with a glass of water.

Who can receive a Ka huna massage?

Everybody, regardless of body shape, age or state of health can receive Ka Huna bodywork. Especially beneficial for those experiencing stress or overcoming trauma.

How to prepare?

Drink lots of water throughout the day! Please let me know if you cannot arrive at the agreed time. Once you arrive, please do not open the door in case I am with another client, please message me, and I will come let you in.

You have the option to either leave the oil on your body, which I suggest because it is very good for your body, or you can remove it with a towel. If you are choosing to leave it on, please bring clothes that can handle oil.

About me

My name is Emily, however you can call me Em. I grew up on the East coast of Australia in a small town called Byron Bay.  I relocated to Berlin in 2016, looking for a change, Berlin has now become my second home. I trained in advanced Ka Huna Bodywork level 3 at Mettes Institute of High Spirits in Kin Kin, Australia. Ka Huna bodywork came to me in a time of personal struggle and self discovery. Ka Huna ripped away my layers and allowed me to really understand who I am and what my purpose is. Ka Huna taught me how to truly love myself again and by doing this, it allowed me to reach deeper connection with myself and clarity in how I would like to live my life. I believe we are all connected, and together we must raise our vibration. Through the loving Ka Huna touch, and with a beautiful intention, I can assist my clients in connecting, and truly loving themselves again.

My purpose as a Ka Huna Bodyworker is to assist you in balancing the body-mind in its physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions, and to honour and love who you really are. Ka Huna is much more than a massage, it may bring up emotional blockages you don’t want to deal with, or thought you had overcome. However, this is part of your healing. I will be there to guide and assist your healing through loving touch, whilst holding a safe & nurturing space for you.

I am looking forward to meeting you!
